Privacy screens are nothing new, but as soon as I spotted netbooks (HP Mini 110, Toshiba NB205 and Sony Vaio W) at the 3M stand, which wasn’t often, in this huge convention hall, I was immediately drawn in.
3M had regular ones and a cool gold one which I didn’t notice at first but when it caught some reflections on the side it looked really nice.. well, nice to whoever is sitting beside you! All in all, they work very well, the screen goes completely blank when looking from the sides.
The 3M Gold Privacy Filter starts selling here next year but for folks in the US, it went up on Amazon.com this month for about $30.

Didn’t anyone notice that this HP Mini is sth really new? It’s not a regular mini nor is it the 311!
There was nothing special about it.. just a pink HP Mini 110!
