Update: I misread… It’s on sale now, rather than next week.
A couple of months ago we heard about the 10.1” Weibu N10A netbook. It is unique in that it is the first 10.1” netbook to come with NVidia ION on board. Up until now only 11.6” or larger netbooks have come with ION. The downside is that it sports a less power efficient nettop geared Atom 230 processor rather than a N or Z series processor.
It is very close to being released on sale in Japan, probably next week at the earliest.
The specs as we saw before: 10.1” 1024 x 600 Display, Intel Atom 230 processor, 2GB RAM, 150GB HDD, HDMI out and no OS. Priced at 49,800 yen (relative price of around $400 - it’s about $20 more than the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA)
