11.6” ASUS Eee PC 1101HA Gets Unboxed in UK

Electric Pig has unboxing pictures of the upcoming 11.6” ASUS Eee PC 1011HA Seashell Mini-notebook. Shame about the stamp sized pictures though.

As a owner of a 11.6” mini-notebook (AAO 751) I can say the form factor is superb for those wanting something a little more comfortable than a 10-inch netbook (more screen real estate, bigger keyboard). The Atom Z520 processor is okay for Windows XP. I would have really liked to see a Z530 in these 11.6-inchers but that would bump up the price even higher I guess.

The 1101HA showed up for pre-order in the UK at Amazon, for example, but they have since taken down their listings. It’s on pre-order in Europe, like in France.
