A short while back before the HP Mini 311 went official, a whole slew of HP notebook products were discovered in some listing. One of these included an 11.6” HP Pavilion DM1 Intel CULV powered notebook.
Well, today it has shown up in HP’s Winter catalog (along with some plenty of other interesting products).
Specs: Intel CULV processor (not mentioned which one), 11.6” 1366 x 768 display, up to 500GB HDD, up to 5GB RAM (DDR3), Webcam, 3x USB, 92% full size keyboard, 5-in-1 Card Reader. Battery life rated at up to 9 hours. Available in black or white. Windows 7 Home Premium.
There is an option for discrete graphics, so I’m assuming there will be something more powerful than an integrated GMA 4500MHD offering.
It’s the same machine as the HP Mini 311 on the outside.

I’d be quite interested if there was an option for discrete graphics, though I’m not sure whether it’d push the price up too high. Still, 9 hours of battery life and performance much closer to a full-size laptop sounds pretty nice.
An 11.6 with discrete graphics? Count me in if it doesn’t cost a fortune. The 13” dm3 had my attention before, but if the dm1 could have something better than the 4500mhd, something with real drivers like ATI or NVidia, I’d be more interested in it.
