We haven’t heard much about the Samsung X120 since early September, apart from being officially announced in Europe. Today, Notebook Italy has announced the price for the 11.6-incher at 599 Euros. No word on when it’ll be available.
The X120 is Samsung’s 11.6-inch entry into the CULV thin and light notebook space and sports an 11.6” 1366 x 768 display (glossy), Intel Core 2 Duo processor (no specifics mentioned), 1-4GB DDR3 RAM, 160-500GB HDD (5400rpm), GMA 4500MHD graphics, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and 10/100 LAN. Ports: 3x USB, HDMI, audio jacks VGA, card reader, LAN. It has a 4-cell battery (4 hours) and 6-cell battery (9 hours). Weighs 1.36kg / 3.0 lbs.

Yeah, this one is also available in Denmark, very nice laptop, very few reviews, but here’s one:

599 euros translates to 536 pounds.
Bad vibes.
Well, what can we tell from the picture? The keyboard doesn’t look great—its not full width like the Acer and Lenovo models. And the right shift key looks pretty miniscule. Course they could fix that for the US version. Keys look like those on the Acer too, just even closer together…
It looks like the trackpad is probably multitouch. Whether its a good multitouch (Acer) or a bad multitouch (Lenovo) remains to be seen.
Also, no mention of eSata which the Lenovo has but the Acer does not…
