The 12.1” ASUS Eee PC 1201HA is now available in the US priced at $329.99 with free shipping (Cyber Monday 2-day sale) at Best Buy. The 1201HA is basically the 12-inch version of the Eee PC 1101HA which means it will be a little sluggish but it can handle 1080p HD video.
Best Buy always seem to sell cut down versions of netbooks when the model no. includes a ‘B’ and this might be the case here, since the model no. is 1201HAB-RBLK001X.
The ASUS Eee PC 1201HA (Black) specs listed:
12.1” 1366 x 768 display, Atom Z520 processor (1.33GHz), GMA 500 Graphics, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 10/100 LAN, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 6-Cell Battery (5.5 - 7 hours) and Windows XP Home.
Ports: 3x USB, audio jacks, card reader

My Best Buy had the 11.6” out on display and the computer rep was totally clueless about the 12’s sitting back in their stock room. When you buy it, check the box. The model numbers are only off by one number (1101HAB-RBLK001X and 1201HAB-RBLK001X) and on top of that, they are both $329.99. Be very careful when you buy this. I picked up two for gifts yesterday.
