12.1” ASUS Eee PC 1215N Dual Core, ION 2 Powered Notebook

Here’s a look at the coolest 12-inch Eee PC netbook / notebook from ASUS yet over at Computex 2010. The Eee PC 1215N, powered by next generation ION graphics, a dual core Atom desktop bound processor and Nvidia Optimus to save on battery life.

The dual core processor is the D525 running at 1.8GHz though this demo model had the D510 (1.66GHz) processor.

Design has been upgraded with a similar design seen on the upcoming 10-inch netbook range - matte palm rest, matte lid, glossy display, very large trackpad and solid chiclet keyboard. HDMI port there as expected.

Didn’t hear anything about pricing or availability. Will be available in black, silver, red and bright red.
