A Look at the Pine Trail Hardware Inside the Eee PC 1005PE

So we’ve seen how the new ASUS Eee PC 1005PE looks and it’s pretty much identical to the previous 1005HA models, but how about on the inside?

hwupgrade.it has taken a shot of the motherboard from the Pine Trail ASUS Eee PC 1005PE. Comparing the new motherboard with the one from the 1005HA (mind you, the pictured 1005HA motherboard is upside down), I am not seeing much difference: Both seem the same size and there’s still a fan cooling the system. I thought it would end up taking much less space but I guess that will come in time. Anyone more hardware inclined see anything significant?
