That mysterious AO721 11.6-incher we spotted at the FCC a couple of months ago turns out to be this Acer Aspire One 721 which has just been announced in France today.
The Acer Aspire One 721 is the AMD / ATI version of the Intel based Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T that has already been announced. Both have the same chassis.
Instead of a single core AMD V105 processor (1.2GHz) on the 10.1-inch 521, the 721 has a dual core AMD Athlon II Neo K325 (1.3GHz) processor which has a TDP of 12 watts. It has the same ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics as the 521 which is more than capable of playing 1080p video. Battery life for this notebook was mentioned to be around 6 - 7 hours. Will be available in silver, black, red and brown colors.
A similar model, the Acer Aspire 1551 has also been announced which appears to be identical but full technical specs have been revealed.

Last of all, there’s also the Packard Bell rebranded dot.a netbook which comes with an AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor which is single core, running at 1.7GHz. You can check out the hands on videos here.
