Johannes from NewGadgets.de just spent some hands on time with the upcoming 11.6” Alienware M11x gaming notebook and gives us a tour around the machine and takes a look at customizing the keyboard backlight which updates in realtime as you modify the color slider in some Windows app. The alien head can be customized separately. He shows us that you can switch from Intel integrated graphics to Nvidia graphics without rebooting (Optimus?).
Still can’t go over the design, seems like it appeals mostly to teenagers but perhaps I’m wrong.

With optimus you don’t manually select it to change, as its completely automated, which is the smart thing about it. This is just standard switchable graphics.
