There still is no news on the Android front regarding netbooks especially with that Android Acer Aspire One that was shown off at Computex 2009. Not a word of it since, until today, a preview of the Acer Aspire One D250 which Android on board gets previewed by the folks at ePrice in Hong Kong where it has shown up.
Android is on board in a dual-boot setup with Windows XP (after you install it from Windows). It booted up in 20 seconds and shut down was pretty much instantaneous. That seems to be all that Android had going for it on this D250.
I can’t see any pictures right but reading the descriptions it seems to be in a pretty unusable state. You can’t browse the web properly, watch videos, download software etc, let alone even rename or move folders.
