This week, EeePC.it discovered the full specs of both the 12.1” ASUS Eee PC 1201HA and 1201N. One of the really interesting points was that the 1201N featured a dual-core Atom 330 processor, a very unusual choice for netbooks and is only found on nettops.

Today, Fudzilla got the confirmation from ASUS that the 1201N does indeed have the dual-core Atom 330 processor. (Fudzilla mixes the models up).

ASUS also mentions that it will launch after Windows 7 goes official, and then there are more ASUS ION-based products on the way.

Wow, that’s surprising. I guess I’ll have to wait and see how battery life holds up, and whether the performance boost is really worth it.

I wonder what the price will be, probably over $600
