Here is the 10.1” ASUS Eee PC 1005HR netbook with a 1366 x 768 HD display. I’ve been waiting for this for ages from ASUS, at least on paper. The main feature with the 1005HR is the display. This is their first 10-inch netbook with a resolution higher than 1024 x 600. The other features remain the same as previous Eee PC Seashells.
I don’t know about availability in other countries, but it’s been available here in Japan since the end of October but stock has been pretty low or non-existent until today.
Specs for the Eee PC 1005HR:

- 1GB RAM

Looking at a 10.1” 1366 x 768 in person I know this is just too much resolution at this display size for me but I know there will be plenty of people excited about this. I am going to give the 1005HR a go, just for the screen and comparing battery life with the Eee PC 1005HR.
Comparing the Eee PC 1005HR to the HP Pavilion DM1 and Samsung N140 netbooks:

wow very beautiful and small.
I’ll wait until the price comes down to get or look into one.
