The folks at Blogeee.net have confirmed that the ASUS Eee PC 1005HR will not be coming to France. So far, it’s only available in Japan. I think it may be coming to Taiwan as Sascha from Netbooknews mentioned once before. No news about availability in other countries either.
A pretty cool addition to the Eee PC lineup, the 1005HR is basically a 1005HA with a 10.1” 1366 x 768 display. I have to say I’m really liking the screen so far, but I haven’t actually used it for long periods of time. Just short bouts of a couple of hours and it’s fine for those occasions - not feeling any eye strain yet.

I really want one of these. I wish there was a way to get one in Canada.
In my opinion these are the most practical netbooks. The additional screen space really makes a big difference.
