ASUS Eee PC 1005PEG with WiMAX

There are still videos and photos of products that have yet to be put up online from CES 2010 earlier this year. Here’s one such product. The ASUS Eee PC 1005PEG. You can see this model name includes the new Pinetrail 1005PE netbook. The G is for on board UMTS 3G or WiMAX. As WiMAX starts to take off we should be seeing some WiMAX netbooks hit the market. As for the specs, they don’t differ from the standard 1005PE: Atom N450 processor, 1024 x 600 10.1” display (matte display though), 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 6-cell 48Wh battery, Bluetooth and various colors. No word on pricing or availability.
