Here’s a look at the ASUS Eee PC 1015PN (I see some people calling it the 1015N as well. Update: Not the same models) over at Computex 2010, a 10-inch ASUS Eee PC powered by the new DDR3 compatible Atom N475 processor, next generation Nvidia ION graphics and Optimus for saving on battery life.
Looks wise, it carries the same chassis as all the new upcoming 10-inch Eee PCs with a more solid chiclet keyboard and a larger trackpad. This one has a matte palm rest, lid.. and screen! The screen bezel is glossy though. Like all new ASUS notebooks there is also USB 3.0 on board.
Haven’t heard about a release date or pricing. Will be available in black, white or red.

Hi Peter,
i think the 1015N have a Intel Atom N550 dualcore + ION 2 + Optimus.
It’s possibile?

why waste ion 2 on such low resolution
I love matte. This is my almost ideal netbook. Needs a hard drive panel too.
a good netbook, but needs a better display resolution.
putting this 1024x600 crap into an ION-powered netbook is just ridiculous.
