The 12.1” ASUS Eee PC 1201N has gone official in the US and LaptopMag has spent some hands-on time with it. That can only mean an imminent release in the US. However in Taiwan, it has just been announced and there’s another hands-on video for you to take a look at.
The Taiwanese model sports the same or similar specs: 12.1” 1366 x 768 display, NVidia ION graphics, Atom 330 processor, 250GB HDD, 2GB RAM, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, 0.3MP webcam and a 6-cell battery. Strangely it will ship with Windows 7 Home Basic instead of Home Premium over there.
