AUO was at FPD 2009 mainly showcasing some larger displays along with 3D technology and e-Paper but they did have this 11.6” resistive touch screen display which I was immediately drawn to. The touch screen was very responsive and sensitive to my finger input. I didn’t get a response on whether it works with a stylus but being resistive I think it would.
I forgot to take a snapshot of the specs but I gleamed some specs from the video: 262K colors, 1366 x 768 resolution, 90 / 50 viewing angles, 180 cd/m2 brightness, 500:1 contrast ratio, 8ms response time.
This display is available for notebooks and netbooks. I don’t see this product listed over at AUO.
