Belkin (at least in the UK) has announced a couple of new power bricks for netbooks. One is for travel, the other for the home.
First up is the 40W AC/DC Travel Netbook Power Adapter with a selection of 5 interchangeable tips which work with known netbook brands such as ASUS, Acer, Dell, HP, Samsung and Toshiba. Weighs 210g without cable and is 61.5 mm x 111.5 mm x 24.2 mm in size.
Then there’s the 90W AC Home / Office Netbook Power Adapter with 8 different tips to work with more netbooks. Weighs 350g and is 147 mm x 70 mm x 16 mm in size.

I don’t see pricing up at the UK site, but Notebook Italia has the first one priced at 50 Euros and the second noe at 60 Euros.

My thoughts are that Netbooks are cheap, and tend to come with tiny little power bricks. Since this is neither cheap, nor tiny, I can’t imagine why I’d buy this.
There might be a market for this sort of thing on a $1000 laptop, but for a $300 netbook? No thanks, I’ll just stick with the brick that came with it thanks.
