Jumping the gun again and back to the Cedar Trail Atom platform due out in 2011.
The Cedar View Atom will be a 32nm processor with a new memory controller with DDR3 RAM support and a new graphics core that supports DirectX 10.1 and HD playback support (Blu-ray). There’s also dual digital display support alongside LVDS, eDP, HDMI and DisplayPort. No word on whether there will be performance increases.
Last info sourced was that a new Atom processor will launch in early 2013. No other info apart from a guess that it will be a 22nm processor.
