Engadget tested out Chrome OS again, but instead of a slow virtualized version, they’ve slapped it on a USB Flash key and ran the real deal on a Dell Mini 9 and it is super fast booting up in just seconds and websites were loading quite quickly. If you’re interested in trying it out yourself follow the link to Engadget for instructions, but also check out the video demonstration.
I’m going to wait a while longer before testing Chrome OS out, until something more solid is released, this release still seems way too early for any hope of it replacing any other OS right now.
