Dell Mini 9 Being Discontinued?

Update 2: Dell Mini 9 Config / Order page is still up. Probably doesn’t mean you can order it though.

Update: Engadget says “We just got off the phone with a Dell customer service rep who told us the same thing a handful of our tipsters heard: the Mini 9’s being phased out, with its official “End of Life” possibly as soon as Monday.”

The Dell Mini 9 has been removed from Dell’s website (US, UK, Germany and some more). Is it being discontinued?

According to the leaked Dell netbook timeline pictures we saw earlier this year, the Dell Mini 9 was supposed to reach the end of it’s life around mid May with the Dell Mini 10 replacing it. It looks like everything is going according to plan.

One MyDellMini forum in the UK phoned a Dell UK representative and was informed that the item was no longer in stock and did not know if there were going to be any plans for another new Mini.

The business version of the Dell Mini 9, the Vostro A90 is still up for sale for $294.
