Rob928 over on the MyDellMini forums has built the first Dell Mini 9 slate tablet mod ever. Built out of a Vostro A90, a Honda Fun and Easy touchscreen kit and a lot of spare time.
Rob928 notes a few things after it’s completion: A single-touch touchscreen can be a nuisance when you have your palm resting on the screen, Windows 7 is much better for a touchscreen device and his new creation does run a little hot (40 - 50 degrees Celsius)
