Fujitsu Announces CULV 11.6” LOOX C Netbook in Japan

Fujitsu Japan have announced a Intel CULV powered 11.6” netbook in the FMV LOOX C series.

Specs: 11.6” 1366 x 768 display, Intel GS45 express chipset / GMA 4500MHD graphics, 2GB RAM, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 320GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium.

Ports: 3x USB, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Card Reader, VGA and audio jacks. Weighs 1.6kg. Comes in black, red or blue.

The high end C/E70 sports a dual-core Core 2 Duo SU9400 (1.4GHz) processor and a higher capacity battery rated at 9.2 hours while the lower end C/E50 model sports a Celeron SU2300 (1.2GHz) processor with a battery is rated at 6.2 hours.

Way overpriced though: The C/E70 goes on sale on the 29th for a little under 100,000 yen ($1,113), the C/E50 on the 22nd for around 80,000 yen ($890).
