Gigabyte Japan has announced refreshed versions of their Gigabyte netbook lineup (2 of the 3) with Windows 7 Starter.
First up is the M1022X, an higher end model of the M1022M (netbook that comes with a dock) which sports a 10.1” 1366 x 768 display and gets a higher capacity 6-cell battery (7800mAh) good for up to 8 hours. Other than that specs are the same: Atom N280 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, GMA 950 graphics and so on. Piced at 66,800 yen ($738).
Next up is the T1028X tablet convertible netbook which we’ve seen already and is already on sale. It has an Atom N280 processor, 10.1” touchscreen 1366 x 768 display, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 1.3MP Webcam, Bluetooth, 6-cell (7650mAh) battery and so on. Priced at 72,800 yen ($804).
There is no mention of whether the touchscreen is multi-touch now, but I very much doubt it since it ships with Windows 7 Starter which doesn’t have multi-touch capability.
