Nicole over at Netbooknews introduced us to the 13.3-inch Gigabyte Booktop M1305 earlier this week and around the same time it popped up officially over at Gigabyte’s website. What I didn’t bother to check were the specs, and it turns out that the docking station actually contains an NVidia GeForce GT220 DDR3 1GB discrete graphics solution.
The rest of the specs include: a Core 2 Duo / Pentium / CULV processor, 13.3” 1366 x 768 display, GS45 chipset + GMA 4500MHD graphics, 1.3MP webcam, 2.5” HDD (320 - 500GB), 802.11n Wi-Fi, Gigabit LAN, 6-cell 3800mAh battery. Additional features include a fingerprint scanner, facial recognition via webcam, 2nd battery slot instead of optical drive and that docking bay of course. Ships with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Speaking of Gigabyte Netbooks, they have officially announced updated versions in the USA with Windows 7 (were upped at the same time):
- BookTop M1022X - 10.1” 1366 x 768 display
- BookTop M1022G - 10.1” 1366 x 768 display and built-in HSDPA 3G.
- TouchNote T1028G - 10.1” 1366 x 768 display and built-in HSDPA 3G
