There have been at least a few netbook keyboard light mods in the past, some I’ve covered and some I haven’t like this Eee PC mod way back in 2007. Here’s the latest keyboard light mod from a Vostro A90 user (business version of the now defunct Dell Mini 9) on the MyDellMini forums.
These two mods have one thing in common. They look pretty hardcore, especially for the results, but at least it seems practical. The Vostro A90 now has a light on the top screen bezel that can be toggled on or off via the CTRL key and is OS independent.
Still waiting for someone to do a backlit keyboard mod for a netbook.. if it is even feasible..
