HP Mini 311 External Antenna Mod

Stradevarius, owner of a HP Mini 311 notebook, had trouble picking up Wi-Fi signals on his school campus so he modded his Mini 311 with an external antenna, which marks this as his first mod, too, and a “very simple mod” as he puts it. Now he’s getting a solid 54Mbps at home and can detect networks over 3 blocks away. While there are no instructions on how to do it yourself you can check out a few WIP photos.
