Update: Just noticed notebookreview has a review of the base model I mention in this post.
HP’s successor to the HP Mini 5101, the HP Mini 5102, is now up and available to buy direct from HP Small & Medium Business.
We saw the HP Mini 5102 back at CES 2010 earlier this year and besides the looks remaining the same, there’s a Pinetrail upgrade and optional Broadcom crystal HD accelerator card, touchsceen and carry handle. The available models are not configurable and none of them come with said options just yet.
Prices are said to start from $399, but these pre-configured models start from $749. That price gets you a 10.1” 1024 x 600 display, Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB DDR2-800 RAM, 160GB 7200RPM HDD, 2.0MP webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 4-cell 28 Whr battery.
Check out the HP Mini 5102 lineup.

The configurable version is now up at the same place. Seems nice but pricey.
Hmm.. that’s odd, I can’t find the 5102 anymore and the page I linked to is gone. Where are you seeing this?
Thanks for participating!
Hmmm thats funny. It was up yesterday evening and this morning.
The following still gets me there:
