Update: I was right. It is official. Added more info below.
I have just spotted a new HP Pavilion notebook, in a Champagne Gold color, in an online store in Japan. While no product model or specs are listed it clearly looks like the HP Pavilion DM1 / Mini 311 chassis with a price of 79,800 yen ($874) and a shipping date of July 8th. There's no doubt in my mind that this is the upcoming HP Pavilion DM1z with the new AMD processors.
Well that, or a special designer edition of the HP Pavilion DM1? No way, not this late into the game...
Turns out I was right. It is the HP Pavilion DM1z although it Japan it is apparently called the DM1a. The official product page is up at HP Japan. It starts going on sale from today for the standard model (June 17)
Here are specs for one model at least: Only a single core model available right now, hopefully dual core ones will show up as well.
