Chippy over at UMPCPortal has fired up the PC version of the Kindle software which was recently announced, on his Gigabyte TouchNote T1028M tablet netbook convertible. The trickiest part he encountered was trying to widen the margins when you flip over into portrait mode. Looks like there’s just enough space with 600 vertical pixels that you get on most netbooks.

He’s also installed the software on a second device (Viliv S7) and has it synced up. Check out the video for some Kindle touchscreen action on the Viliv S7.
