Latest Moblin 2.1 Image Adds Bluetooth / 3G / Higher Resolution Support

Just recently Moblin announced version 2.1 along with it’s app store and made an early preview available but just last week, a newer Moblin 2.1 preview image was made available over at Moblin.org which improves hardware support: 3G support, Bluetooth and more screen resolutions and also adds / improves on the software side too: better language support, better IM support, updated kernel, Moblin Garage and Application Installer.

Anyone Moblin out yet? What do you think? I’ve been using version 2.0 for a couple of days on my ASUS Eee PC 1005HA. The first improvements I have noticed over older versions is that speed is much improved in the media gallery (when images fly about) and the browser looks much better with more options. I haven’t had time to really explore other areas yet.

It takes getting used to and it’s much different from any Linux distro or Windows.
