Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 HD Display Confimed

More and more netbooks coming with HD screens. Isn’t this great!? Of course they’re not for everyone, but it’s nice to have the option there.

We heard about Lenovo possibly coming out with a HD display for the new Ideapad s10-2 a couple of days ago but the actual resolution wasn’t mentioned nor was this piece of news confirmed.

Now, in a German press release, the HD option has been confirmed and it will have a resolution of 1280 x 720 on the 10.1” display (16:9). A couple of other netbooks have a HD screen too such as on the Dell Mini 10 and HP Mini 2140 but those have slightly higher resolution displays at 1366 x 768 (also 16:9).

The standard resolution, luckily, is not 16:9 1024 x 576 but 1024 x 600.

I forgot to mention this before, but there is some neat Dolby headphone technology, which sounds great.
