LG has finally released their new 10” netbook in their XNote series, the LG X130. We saw this earlier hitting the FCC.
A few cosmetics changes from the previous X120 and X110 netbooks. The first thing that strikes me is that there are two buttons now on the touchpad. Keyboard looks the same.
Specs are standard netbook innards: Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, Windows XP Home yada yada. 3g Modem ready. Weight: 1.45kg.

Now, we get to the good bit: The X130 has a 9-cell battery! That can’t be a 9-cell battery shown in the pictures as this X130 also ships with a 3-cell and 6-cell battery. LG is quoting battery life up to 12 hours, so perhaps 10 hours? That’s mighty awesome at any rate.
The LG X130 will go on sale in Europe, Asia, Latin American, Middle East and Africa. Priced at around $632 in Korea.

That’s pretty awesome. I wish manufacturers would add a 9 cell as an option/accessory, I’m a little afraid to put some cheap 3rd party 9 cell off Ebay in my netbook. That being said though, I still get a pretty solid 6 hours or so, and I wouldn’t really need more.
