Litl had a surprise in store for us, they were “busy rethinking tomorrow’s personal computer” for families and had a teaser up on their homepage. Engadget ruins their surprise by discovering their product, the Lil Easel, up in the FCC, which seems to be just a netbook with a custom OS.
The Litl Easel features an Atom Z540 processor (1.86GHz), 12.1” 1280x800 Display, only 2GB of storage, 1GB RAM, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, webcam and a 2600mAh battery. It’s decked out with just one HDMI and USB port along with an IR receiver for a Litl remote.
There’s a blue button on the keyboard that brings you into the unique aspect of their OS where programs, settings and widgets are all represented as stacked cards.
