Engadget may have ruined small startup Litl’s Webbook surprise debut, but there’s still a lot to learn about this new, unique netbook aimed for the household and now there’s plenty of new information up online at litl.com and it’s even available to order now for $699.
It comes with a custom OS and you can switch “channels” or apps by turning a knob on either the netbook itself or on a remote that is available. A feature taken straight from under our noses.. right from the telly!
It’s 3 pounds, has a handle to grab and carry around your house, opens up 178 degrees so it’s sits in “easel” mode and has HDMI out to connect to a TV easily. One thing that hits me is that there doesn’t seem to be any touchscreen on this device.
Check out litl.com for all the info. There’s a video on the support page.
