A little more news on the Moblin front.
While Moblin version 2.1 is being showcased at IDF 2009 (mostly with added support for mobile devices), version 2.0 is finally out of beta and a final version is available to download onto your netbook. This version is in a shippable state and Moblin expects OSVs and OEMS to be shipping products with version 2.0.
Moblin also introduces the Moblin Garage (online catalog) and Moblin Application Installer, which is their app store. These features don’t come with Moblin 2.0 and are still not finished but you can install the Application installer easily. It should come standard with version 2.1.
Version 2.1 should be available to download in Q4 2009 and will include enhancements like: Additional nettop screen resolutions, myzone improvements, IM improvements, better language supports, updated kernel, 3G data support and Bluetooth.
