NEC Japan is keeping up with the times by adding a couple of new 10-inch netbooks to their LaVie Light range, with the latest Pinetrail processor (Atom N450 processor and GMA 3150 graphics). Same chassis as the previous generation.
The BL530 / WH6B ups the screen resolution to 1366 x 768 pixels and on top of that they are throwing in 2GB RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium. It’s 6-cell battery should last for 7.6 hours. Above average specs, for a netbook. Costs a whopping 70,000 yen ($768 - or around $550 relatively priced).
The lower end Light Lui BR340/WA model sports your usual netbook specs: 1GB RAM, 10” 1024 x 600 display, 250GB HDD and Windows 7 Starter.
Decent looking netbooks, too bad they don’t ship outside of Japan.

The BL330 completes the bottom end of the range and differs only in that it ships without MS Office.
And yes, they are sharp looking machines!
