New 10.1” ASUS Eee PC 1001HA Model (Update)

Update: NetbookItalia has some more information about the 1001HA as follows:
There will be an additional 1001HA models with Linux or No OS, in addition to the usual Windows XP model. It will have a 3-cell battery rated at 2200mAh.

A new 10.1” ASUS Eee PC model has been spotted in Europe called the Eee PC 1001HA. Nothing to get that excited about though, it is just an ASUS Eee PC 1005HA with a different exterior. Specs are the same as the low end ASUS Eee PC 1005HA with an Atom N270 processor.

The exterior has some kind of faux carbon fiber look and shouldn’t pick up fingerprints like the standard models. Looks like a black and white model will be available.

It’s not known whether this is a limited edition and whether or not it will be available outside of Europe. It will start shipping from 23 September apparently and is priced at 250-300 Euros.
