Update: Hands-on videos from Gizmodo and Engadget. Check out some gestures on Android (seemed a bit unresponsive) and some colorful balls.

The Notion Ink Adam tablet has made an appearance at CES 2010 in a rather early blocky prototype design, powered by the Tegra 2 chipset and it’s the first product to be using the Pixel Qi display.
It’ll have a capacitive touchscreen and have some awesome battery life (no figures mentioned). No word on pricing or availability but the last tip was around $300 in June.
Last time this tablet popped up it had the following specs (most from last year’s announcement, battery life not mentioned at CES):
- 10.1” 1024 x 600 display
- 16 / 32GB SSD
- 1080p HD support
- Wi-Fi
- 3G
- A-GPS / Digital compass / accelerometer / ambient light sensor / water sensor
- USB / HDMI / SD card slot / headphone and mic jacks / 3MP webcam
- Battery life: 48 hours in standby, 16 hours web browsing with Wi-Fi and 8 hours HD playback.
Check out the hands-on in the link below:

A little slip-up on the battery life there, one paragraph says no mention, then the end of the specs list them very specifically.
Otherwise this thing looks pretty sweet, one of the *very* few Linux-specific Tablets I’m quite interested in.
Thanks for the coverage :)
No mention was made at CES apparently (yet). The specs are from a previous announcement. I’ll just update the post to make that clear.
Thanks for participating!
