Onkyo has just one upped Kohjinsha by announcing the Onyko DX series, a dual-screen netbook with two 10.1” 1366 x 768 displays, instead of Kohjinsha’s 1024 x 600 displays. Actually, this is just Kohjinsha’s rebranded, but they made a good move adding in two higher resolution displays.
Onkyo DX specs remain the same: 2x 10.1” 1366 x 768 displays, Athlon Neo MV-40 (1.6GHz, single-core) processor, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, AMD M780G chipset, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit.
Other features include: Fingerprint scanner, 1.3MP Webcam, battery good for up to 3.7 hours. I didn’t realise this netbook can fold into slate mode - rather pointless though since the screens are not touch-enabled.
Goes on sale towards the end of December priced at 84,000 yen ($955).
