Onkyo Japan, who have a habit of releasing rebranded netbooks have released the C411 series, their latest netbook offering, looking very similar to the Acer Aspire 532h, with Pinetrail guts, a digital TV tuner and a FM / AM radio. Pretty interesting release since either option is pretty rare on a netbook. Outside of Dell and Kohjinsha (off the top of my head) I can’t recall anyone offering digital TV tuners on netbooks). Only thing not looking too hot is a 3-cell battery lasting about 3.3 hours.
The C411 series netbook feature standard Pinetrail netbook specs:
10.1” 1024 x 600 display (glossy), Atom N450 (1.66GHz) processor, GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 0.3MP webcam and Windows 7 Starter. There’s the usual array of ports including one for attaching an external antenna. Weighs 1.1 kg. Priced at 54,800 yen ($598).
