Pine Trail ASUS Eee PC 1001P Announced in UK

We’ve heard about the Pine Trail ASUS Eee PC 1005P and 1005PE models, with the 1005PE model making the rounds in the US yesterday but there’s yet another 10-inch Pinetrail Eee PC that hasn’t been announced yet. Apparently ASUS UK have officially announced (I can’t find anything) the 1001P which would no doubt be the Pinetrail version of the faux carbon fiber adorned 1001HA which never made it to the US.

The specs for the 1001P: 10.1” 1024 x 600 display, Atom N450 (1.66GHz) processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD and 1.1kg weight. Basically this model comes in right at the bottom.
