KDE, one of the more popular GUI front ends for Linux has reached a 4.4 release codenamed “Caikaku”. Can’t say how much improved it is over older releases as I’m not really following Linux GUI progress that much but it’s certainly more exciting than Gnome which seems to have gone stale years ago. Anyway, the interesting feature here is that they’ve now included the Plasma Netbook interface that we’ve seen seen in W.I.Ps previously.
