I posted this yesterday, but occasionally I forget to actually publish posts.
Sascha from Netbooknews gives us a hands-on look on video at the Quanta Android Smartbook which was spotted last week.
The Quanta Smartbook is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz ARM processor and runs the Android OS though this prototype model had something earlier than v2.0. The smartbook looks extremely thin and easily rivals the Sony Vaio X in terms of thinness and weight but should end up costing a fraction of Vaio’s.
Ports: mini-HDMI, 3x USB, headphone / microphone shared jack and MicroSD card reader. Battery looks very small and could be either 2 or 3-cells. No access panels underneath.
