Samsung N220 Disassembled in Under 5 Mins

Yesterday NDevil gave us an unboxing of his new Samsung N220 netbook. Now he follows up with a disassembly video. Overall 16 screws in total with a total disassembly time of 5 minutes.

Looking inside the N220 we see:

• 2.5” SATA bay
• half-size mini PCI-e slot (used by Wi-Fi with 2 antennas)
• 1x RAM slot

Like the Samsung NC10, there’s circuitry there for a full sized mini PCI-e slot, just with no actual connector. If it’s anything like that 2x mini PCI-e slot NC10 mod we saw earlier this week, then it will just be a case of soldering one on.

Like with 99% of netbooks these days, you’ve only got easy access to a single RAM slot underneath and to access anything else you’ll need to take your netbook apart.
