Samsung N220 Gets Unboxed

NDevil, over in Germany, has an unboxing of one of Samsung’s new Pinetrail netbooks, the N220. Like the latest last gen N140 netbook, it retains the oh-so rare matte display and chassis and ditches the traditional style keyboard for a chiclet keyboard. Trackpad looks very similar to previous versions but apparently the buttons dig in deeper. His model sports a 4,400mAh 6-cell battery but he noted over at CES 2010 that there was a 5,600mAh battery which might find it’s way to some parts of the world. There was a SIM card slot behind the battery.

Spec: 10.1” 1024 x 600 display (matte), Atom N450 processor, 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, 6-cell 4,400 mAh battery and Windows 7 Starter.

I haven’t seen the Samsung N220 pop up at any online stores in the US just yet, but the identical (but with plain lid designs) N210 series just went on sale last Friday priced at $380.
