Samsung Pineview Netbook Coming Late January 2010 - Updated

Over at the Netbook World Summit in Paris, a Samsung France rep confirmed that Samsung will be coming out with Pineview netbooks in late January 2010 which will be thinner than current netbooks while offering long battery life. The rep also indicated these netbooks will have some kind of Instant-on OS pre-installed to allow very quick access to the Internet.  There was also mention of a touchscreen netbook. Last bit of info is that next year Samsung plans to release fewer netbook models, and more… quality ones.

That’s all the information he had though. We’ll probably see it at CES 2010 anyhow.
