We’ve seen plenty of cheap netbooks and notebooks coming out of the Shanzhai scene in China but almost always they have had Intel Atom or VIA processors. Late last year we saw the introduction of some Intel CULV offerings but now one company has outed a notebook with AMD’s Yukon platform, including one dual-core processor found in a couple of recent notebooks such as the MSI Wind U230, Toshiba Satellite T115D, Lenovo ThinkPad Edge and an upcoming version of the ThinkPad X100e.
This notebook features a 13.3” 1366 x 768 display, dual-core Athlon Neo X2 L325 (1.5GHz) or single-core Sempron 210U processors, ATI Radeon X1270 integrated graphics (1080p capable) and HDMI out. Weighs 1.77kg. No word on pricing or battery life for this model but it’s expected to be priced at around $400 - $450 though it’s not likely we’ll see this notebook get released outside of China.
