At the end of last year we heard about the Lenovo ThinkPad Mini 10, which is basically the ThinkPad X100e but with a 10-inch screen on the same chassis (including the trackpoint and chiclet keyboard) and an Atom N450 processor / GMA 3150 graphics instead of AMD and ATI graphics. That leaves a thicker bezel around the screen and the word “Mini 10” where the “X100e” on the bottom right of the screen bezel.
Now today, one user on the Whirlpool forums has spotted a bunch of ThinkPad Mini 10 netbooks at some school in NSW, Australia. They are to be rolled out in public schools there.
There’s also Netbooked reader Willilam Buck Choii who is supposedly getting a ThinkPad Mini 10 this week, and he’s going to let us know, right!?
No pictures but I’m sure you can imagine what an X100e looks like with a thick bezel and a 10-inch display!
Cool, hopefully it has an HD Display and not only 1024*786 :-(.
no cd drive tho :(
